Sian Choo is an ontological coach, facilitator and bilingual event host based in Singapore. Influenced by her late grandpa, she believes in paying it forward to make our world a better place to live in. Sian Choo is also grateful to be surrounded by a community of like-minded friends and change makers, who constantly inspire her that we are better together in making positive impact.
Sian Choo was trained as a coach with Newfield Asia in 2016.
As a facilitator and coach, she has worked with the Director at a construction company based in Indonesia, university students and young working adults, local social enterprises, and an innovative educational school and government agency. These organisations include The Thought Collective, Bold At Work, Pivotal Youth and National Youth Council, where she facilitated civic education trails and leadership advocacy programmes.
Sian Choo started her career as a producer and editor, producing current affairs programmes and social impact videos. Soon after, she discovered her passion for working with the social and community sectors to nurture and develop people. She has worked at a non-profit organisation where she spearheaded in designing and implementing skills-building programmes.
Full of energy and enthusiasm, Sian Choo enjoys striking up conversations and making connections. She is fluent in both Mandarin and English and loves to travel and host events for good causes.
Sian Choo is currently volunteering as the Programme Lead for a local non-profit, Young Women’s Leadership Connection, and is excited to be working with her team to design the International Women’s Day event for next year.
